After you have made an event live, doo automatically creates a standardized event website. However, you also have the option to store your own event website as a link. The standardized website created by doo is then no longer visible to your attendees.
This feature offers you the possibility to make the booking process even more individual and facilitates the assignment of event websites to the appropriate events and languages.
This article is divided into the following sections:
1. What is an event website created by doo?
doo automatically creates a website for each event, which can be used to book tickets for your event. To view the standardized event website for an event, select "Event website" in the right menu under "Administration" on the respective event detail page.
The website contains all information about your event and is available in German and English. To view the website in the other language, change the language in the "Account settings" in your personal account. More information about bilingual events can be found here.
The standard event website created by doo allows potential attendees to register directly for your event without having to integrate the booking process into your homepage first. More options about the booking process and information about integrating the event into your own homepage can be found here.
2. How do i link a custom event website?
To add an individual event website to an event, select "Integrate into website" in the right menu under "Administration" on the respective event detail page.
Click on "Edit link" under "General settings".
Now you can replace the links to the doo default event web page with the link to your individual page. Once you have replaced the doo generated web page, it will no longer be viewable by your bookers. If you do decide to use the default event web page created by doo, you can always undo your changes by clicking on the sign to the right of the corresponding link. Don't forget to always save your changes as well.
