1. What is the booking self-service center?
The booking self-service center, or booking portal, is a personal link that can be provided to your bookers after their registration. Via this individual link they have the opportunity to see the key data of your event, the data they entered during the registration as well as eventual documents related to their booking such as invoice or tickets.
2. Where does the link to the self-service center appear?
2.1. Booking confirmation check-out page
After a booking was successfully completed the link to the booking self-service center is displayed on the booking confirmation page so that the booker has the opportunity to review his input and to eventually contact you as organizer in case he would like to make any subsequent changes.
2.2. Booking emails
If this function is activated in the email contents of your event, your bookers will also receive the link to their personal booking self-service center with the automatic emails that are sent out after the booking, e.g. the booking confirmation. The link will be displayed below the text of the respective email as follows.
Click here for more information about the email contents settings.
3. Additional functions

Pro and Enterprise customers can activate further functions for the booking self-service centers of their events.
3.1 Allow cancelations by the bookers (for free events)
In the event settings of free events in the section "Terms & conditions, cancelations & booking approval" you can enable your bookers to cancel their bookings themselves via the booking self-service center. Also you can activate a notification that is sent to the contact person of your doo account whenever a booker makes use of this function.
In the booking portal, the booker then has the option to cancel his registration himself so that the tickets he booked are released for future registrations. The confirmation about the cancellation is automatically sent to him via email. The content of that email can be adjusted in the email contents settings. Part cancellations of single tickets from a larger booking is not possible. Therefore the booker would have to cancel the existing booking and make a new one with the desired ticket amount.
3.2 Activate Comment field for bookers
You can also give bookers the option to subsequently add information to their booking (such as exact arrival time, food preferences, etc.) via a comment field in the booking self-service center.
Comment fields for the booking portal can be activated in step 3 of the event creation in the "Advanced settings". More information about the setup can be found here.
If a booker uses of the comment field, the comment he enters will be visible for you on the booking detail page in the doo Event Manager as well as in the corresponding booking or attendee excel list.
